This year, MBI hosted two impactful Town Halls designed to connect members, spark meaningful dialogue, and inspire growth—both personally and professionally. The first, held on July 10, was titled “Building a Blueprint for a Life That Lasts: Faith and Fortitude in Action.” In this powerful and candid session, siblings Ashley and Trey Smith shared their journey of resilience, faith, and determination after the loss of their mother at a young age. Their story reminded attendees of the power of perseverance, purpose, and mindset in overcoming adversity. Through an interactive Q&A, participants gained practical tools for navigating personal and professional challenges, leaving with renewed motivation to approach life and work with courage and conviction.

The second Town Hall, held on November 6, marked a milestone moment for MBI with the unveiling of its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, themed “Vision 2030: Powered by Builders, Driven by Action.” Led by Chad Kleppe, President & CEO, and Tara Rinehart, Vice President of Industry Education, this virtual session introduced members to the four Pillars of Impact that will guide MBI’s work: Workforce Development & Career Pathways, Advocacy, Branding & Industry Voice, Innovative Partnerships & Organizational Leadership, and Wellness & Industry Culture. The discussion emphasized how member input shaped the plan, ensuring it reflects real industry needs and ambitions. Together, these two Town Halls embodied MBI’s commitment to connection, collaboration, and building a stronger, more resilient construction community for the future.
