This year we celebrate the 1,000th enrolled WORKSAFE project in the 11th year of our partnership with Iowa OSHA.  City Construction – based in Iowa City – submitted a WORKSAFE application for its North Liberty City Hall Building, making it the 1,000th project. The commercial building industry in Iowa is the beneficiary of a strong relationship between MBI, CSSI and Iowa OSHA.  Through this partnership we are able to provide enhanced consultation and safety monitoring through the WORKSAFE program and other safety-outreach initiatives. The unique partnership provides a great opportunity to get us closer to our ultimate goal of Mission Zero, which is no fatalities in the commercial building industry. It is important that we thank those at Iowa OSHA for their continued efforts in making this partnership work toward safer construction projects.  We understand how rare it is to see this sort of cooperative effort between public and private entities, and everyone who played an instrumental part in making WORKSAFE such a successful partnership should be congratulated.
