For the first time, we partnered with a national organization called Construction Angels to open up the 1st Iowa chapter. Construction Angels is a non-profit entity that provide immediate financial assistance and grief counseling to the children and spouse left behind when a construction worker has a fatality on the job site. They offer scholarship opportunities as well to qualified applicants, and additional scholarships to surviving children of a fallen worker.  In our inaugural year, we raised over $127,000 that will stay in Iowa for Iowa families. It was the single largest fundraiser that the organization has ever had. 

 

MBI feels is our duty to be there for these heartbroken families in their time of need. We are honored to partner with such a great organization and will be raising money for this chapter for many years in the future.
